2018 Toyota Sienna Release Date, Specs and Price – Welcome to the latestcarsuv.com, we will provide the latest information about the Toyota Sienna. The car that is environmentally friendly and comfortable to drive, this may be a suitable nickname for the 2018 Toyota Sienna. This car is one of the brand new cars from Toyota, which was released in 2017. We will also review about the price, interior, exterior and engine of the latest 2018 Toyota Sienna.

2018 Toyota Sienna SUV

The 2018 Toyota Sienna has a familiar minivan shape and mission, but its new shape and unique features separate the van from the clan maybe that’s the plan.

Last year, the Sienna’s upgrades were largely confined to spaces you couldn’t see: a new engine and transmission. This year’s upgrades are all about what we can see: a new front bumper, side panels, an updated infotainment system, more USB ports, a new rear-seat entertainment system, and standard safety gear. We’ve rated the 2018 Sienna a 6.3 out of 10, a decent score that reflects its continual updates over the years.

Minivan sales in the U.S. are sliding, but that hasn’t stopped manufacturers from introducing new models with excellent performance, safety, and features. Toyota’s bringing a refreshed Sienna out for 2018, with a new look and standard safety features that would have cost thousands on the 2017 Toyota Sienna.

One year after introducing a more powerful engine to the Sienna, Toyota is making further updates to the best-selling minivan in the U.S. The 2018 Toyota Sienna heads to the New York auto show next month with new technologies and an updated exterior design.

The Sienna is one of the best-selling minivans in the World thanks to its great value for money. It offers plenty of space, a good engine and good safety ratings as well. However, the current car is not exactly what we would call perfect. It lacks a nicely tuned chassis which can be found on some of its rivals and its gearbox is usually quite sluggish. Luckily, though, the current car has been around since 2010, so it is likely going to receive an update quite soon. The upcoming 2018 Toyota Sienna is this rumored update which is set to hit the market sometime in early 2018.

2018 Toyota Sienna Specs

Everyone very much hope at the 2018 Toyota Sienna release is better than the previous version. So we’ll review the interior, exterior and some other features of the new car in 2018 Toyota Sienna. Hopefully review the specifications of this car, can help you in choosing your dream car.

The cabin of the current model is nicely laid out for what it is. The driving position is high so there is plenty of visibility all around the cabin. The center console offers all the car’s functions such as the AC-controls, the infotainment unit or the shift-lever. The new model is expected to get a slightly more modern design. The infotainment system will be heavily revised; the materials will improve while the bland gray look of the cabin should be gone. It seems that at this point most people expect Toyota to borrow quite a bit from the new 2018 Toyota Camry which looks spectacular. The exterior is also very likely going to go the same route as the interior. We expect a sportier design than before with more muscular lines and a much more modern feel. In the front, the 2018 Toyota Sienna will likely get a similarly aggressive grille to the Camry while at the back we may even see a larger roof spoiler.

Toyota has added Android streaming capability to the rear seat entertainment system. There are five USB ports throughout the cabin allowing passengers in all three rows to hook up their devices. To reduce noise, vibration, and harshness, the automaker introduced a laminated front windshield to the mid-level SE model and new acoustic front row side glass on the top Limited trim.

The Entune 3.0 system will feature navigation and App Suite Connect for everyone. The Toyota Sienna L, LE, SE and XLE grades will come standard with the Connected Navigation Scout GPS Link with Moving Maps. Sienna LE, SE, and XLE grades will come standard with the Entune Audio Plus, which includes Safety Connect, and Wi-Fi Connect. WiFi Connect will allow up to five mobile devices to connect using 4G LTE.

For those wanting it all, the Entune™ 3.0 Premium JBL Audio (available on SE and XLE and standard on Limited) adds Dynamic Navigation and Destination Assist and features new advancements in sound quality. Sound enhancements include Sound Staging, which positions speakers directly in front of the listener to help emulate a live concert venue; Low Frequency Sounds, made possible by an added 10.1-inch subwoofer; Clari-Fi, a technology that “un-compresses” music to help restore an audio track’s dynamic range; and nine speakers that are specifically tuned to cabin dimensions and materials.

Things are better inside, but only a few trim bits are new this year. The driver and passenger up front are divided by a wide and sweeping dashboard design that bundles commonly used controls in a logical manner. Newly standard is a 6.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Higher-spec models also have a 4.2-inch LCD integrated into the instrument cluster.

One of the defining traits of the car was the optional all-wheel drive system. Even though this hasn’t been confirmed, we do know Toyota’s new platform does support this configuration. A front wheel drive 2018 Toyota Sienna may be the standard layout but an all-wheel drive system is still not out of the question. The running gear will likely be tweaked in order to retain the great compliant behavior while also adding better driving characteristics. This has been a request even from the older model, so it is safe to assume Toyota will deliver with this new car.

>. Five USB ports covering all three rows
>. Updated Rear Seat Entertainment to include streaming capability for Android devices
>. Bird’s Eye View monitor (available on Limited Premium grade)
>. 4.2-inch TFT multi-information display

2018 Toyota Sienna Engine

Under its hood, Toyota offers a 3.5-liter V-6 borrowed from the new Camry sedan and Tacoma pickup that was revised last year. It makes 296 horsepower and is shifted through an 8-speed automatic that helps the Sienna wring out the most from its gas tank but there’s no hybrid on the horizon here. Instead, the Sienna owns another title in the powertrain department: the only van with available all-wheel drive. Whether that’s useful to buyers is debatable, but the Sienna manages respectable fuel economy in both setups around the low-20s combined in both configurations.

The ongoing model just received a new 3.5 liter naturally aspirated V6. This is a new direct injected engine which provides 296 horsepower and 263 lb-ft of torque. This is slightly less than its rivals but still plenty. With it, the car will easily offer north of 21 MPG on average. However, this is not nearly enough to compete with close to 30 MPG for some of its rivals. The new modular architecture allows for inline 4 and V6 engines as well as for hybrids. We would expect the 2018 Toyota Sienna to come with two offerings this time around. A base naturally aspirated V6 with around 300 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque might be standard. However, it is also in desperate need of a hybrid. The one from the RX450h with its combined output of 308 horsepower would fit the bill perfectly. Both of them are likely going to use an eight-speed automatic and it should get both front and all-wheel drive versions. The hybrid could achieve up to 31 MPG on the highway which is great. However, this engine could also cost a lot more, so it might not be feasible at this point.

The makeover actually started last year, when the Sienna’s 266-hp V-6 engine and six-speed automatic transmission were binned in favor of a new 296-hp 3.5-liter V-6 engine paired with an eight-speed automatic. The combination helped raise the front-wheel-drive Sienna’s fuel economy by 1 mpg in the city and 2 mpg on the highway, to 19/27 mpg, while the all-wheel-drive model saw increases of 2 mpg city and 1 mpg highway, to 18/24 mpg. With 30 extra ponies and two more gears, the Sienna’s acceleration, unsurprisingly, improved as well. We saw the trot to 60 mph fall by 0.3 second, to 7.0 seconds flat. Despite these noteworthy mechanical changes, though, the 2017 Sienna looked no different from its 2016 counterpart.
